I’m a developer at GROW Interactive, an Interactive Development company in Norfolk, VA.

We work on enough different kinds of sites to make my job interesting, and we have a team that is honestly unmatched locally, and in my humble opinion, unsurpassed globally. We tend to take projects above and beyond their original intent, due largely in part to our freedoms as developers and designers. I’m essentially the lead developer at this point. I can honestly say that over the last year, I have improved and improved on our projects in just about every imaginable way possible. Though I don’t particularly find myself on any bandwagon, I slowly migrate new and proven ideas into my workflow. I wasn’t on the immediate jump to css-p from tables, for example, but slowly, as bugs were worked out and new solutions found, I have switched to a completely css based workflow.

Aside from work, I spend a lot of time with my hobbies. RC aircraft account for the loss of most of my expendable income. If I’m not doing that, I can usually be found taking pictures of just about anything with my camera (Canon Rebel XTI). Soon, I plan on starting towards getting my private pilot’s license. Hopefully, late 2007/early 2008 will see me taking to the skys in the left seat.
